THE INSPIRATION

I’ve been a fan of  the duo Run the Jewels.  I was inspired by the song “Love Again (Akinyele Back)” to put together this social media experiment / music video together. 

Since the “Male Gaze” is the norm.  I wanted to flip the switch on this idea.  I placed myself behind the lens and put the fellas in front of it.   

I put a Tinder profile asking the gents if they were willing to get partially naked and eat fruit while I filmed it. After weeding though a myriad of Tinder messages/ requests to see my girly parts; I was able to find 4 guys and 1 good friend willing to take on this fruit filled challenge.  This was the out come.  Enjoy!
